Richard Lavoie's Brief Bio:
- Richard Lavoie was Executive Director of Riverview School from 1990-2001, a boarding school for adolescents with learning disabilities and was Educational Director at Schwab Educational Division in 2001 and 2002. He holds three degrees in Special Education and has served as an adjunct professor or visiting lecturer at numerous universities including Syracuse, Harvard, Gallaudet, Manhattanville College, University of Alabama and Georgetown. He writes frequent articles on LD on Line.
- Lavoie is one of the most sought-after speakers in the field of learning disabilities and has made national appearances on ABC Nightly News, Good Morning America and the CBS Morning Show.
